I am working with a team of 10 individuals tasked with resurfacing 3 playgrounds in my hometown. We are removing all the old wood chips (which have been in place for 8+ years) and would like to replace the surface with recycled tire "mulch". The recycled tires will be a much better surface for the children to play on.

If you have any old tires we could have or know of someone we could contact for some, please let me know. We are going to work with a local company to "recycle" the old tires into "mulch" for the playground floor.

BTW - Every year more than 290 million scrap tires are generated in the United States alone. Let's find every use we can for those tires!
